Beams Redtop Engine Control Wiring Diagram
Who loves you guys
![]() Now this is the raw version of the engine wiring diagram. Since it's in A3 Size paper (really big) and its 2 pages, i had to reduce it to fit it on one page and then reduce it more because my scanner will only do 8 x 11 size paper. When i translate this, i will photoshop out the Japanese and put English in its place, i am working on this now! Expect to see a completed version hopefully this weekend, if not monday/tuesday. It will be A3 size so it will be big enough to read perfectly unlike this copy im showing you guys which im posting as a teaser. Enjoy EDIT: THIS IS THE BEAMS WIRING DIAGRAM IN JAPANESE! http://www.carpron.com/multisite/v/U...anese.jpg.html It's huge! but i wanted it that way so you guys can see is clearly. I have the diagram translated! I am working on photochopping out the japanese and putting in the english translation, this might take me a few days, but its going smooth and i am getting it done as im typing this. Its pretty easy so hopefully I can have it done by tomorrow night! |

in the mean time, feel free to ask me questions on what color wire you need from point A to point B.
for example, if your project is on hold because you don't know what color wire for the Number 2 Igniter...... I can simply respond to you.... Number 2 Igniter wire ECU to Ignitor number 2 ION2 - Blue with Red Stripe IGN2 - Black with Blue Stripe |

The Beams community has been waiting for a wiring diagram for the Beams 3s-ge for many many months. We can't get the information in english. Luckily my current situation has allowed me to acquire the information and translate it.
This is a big thing for our community, its been a long project for me. this is the second copy ive acquired, the first was taken by my translator, and he got fired and went awol on me. the first copy took me 2 months to get. The copy i have now took me 2 weeks, but its the very last copy that is for sale in the country of japan due to it being a discontinued print. it took the guy at toyota about 2 hours to find this for me, and about 20 phone calls to different regional parts dealers. If you look at the first post, I have the wiring diagram posted at that link. Its to big to post here. I am now translating it. |

If my laptop was working, i would totally have this done since i don't really do anything at work.
On a brighter note, my japanese is getting a hell of a lot better since i took on this project last week. |

I would really like the cowl wires and possibly anything to do with the VVTi connections?
I still got no VVTi and got to work out why! :| |

so no VVTi is really wierd bro....i did not have the SPD connection from the cluster to ECU (because of my mechanical speedo, and no wire for it at all) and i still had/have VVTi enganging, so it should not be a problem that the ECU needs some sort of speed input in order for it to engage like say the Honda boys have with their VTEC (which will only work/engage when the ECU knows what revs/speed you are going at). Now, no check engine? error codes? Then it makes no sense, unless the ECU doesnt report it when the VVTi is broken....perhaps a busted VVTi enganging thingy on your cam-wheel? Unplug the wire that runs to the VVTi (on the backside of the engine by the cam wheels, black plug...) my guess is your engine would/should run the same with it unplugged like that....unless for some reason your ECU always remains in limp-mode for some odd reason, but it should show some sort of check-engine...... edit: fuel pressure? are you running lean by any chance? maybe VVTi's not kicking in because your not getting enough fueling and the ECU doesnt switch to the VVTi fuel-mapping..... |

update.....
I screwed up the wiring diagram a little bit with the translation, i got the brown and yellow translations wrong so i have to go back and fix those which i didn't get a chance to do all weekend cause i was rather intoxicated the whole weekend. Anyway, im hoping to get that done and uploaded to the website this week, or atleast posted here on the forums in a sticky. |
