Greddy Emanage Ultimate

Hey guys, first of all thanks to phoenix for the wiring diagram as without that this would be impossible.

I've got my emanage ultimate and wiring harness here, and i'm about to begin installing it but i need to set the jumpers on the board for a couple things

Ignition output signal.. does anyone know if this is a 5v or 12 volt signal??

Airflow meter, does the signal increase or decrease as the airflow increases?

I suppose i could get my old mans multimeter out but hopefully someone can tell me

The afm is 0v at higher flow and 5v at lower flow

The output of which? The IGT signals are 5v....Igniter to coil signal is 12v

Does the e manage ultimate do timing retard?

Thumbs up

Thanks just the info i need, the ultimate is pretty comprehensive, I beleive it does adjust the spark timing, it seems to do everything except adjust vvti, but there is a seperate V-manage module to do that.

V-manage or you could do it with CAM-COM

What is it that the other Standard alone ECUs can do compared to say your Camcon or piggybacks?

That and the apexi for the Blacktop beams may work right out of the box.

if the ecu sees that there is a different timing change in the cam then where it should the ecu may just shut down VVTI altogether

A stock ecu might, but would an aftermarket ecu be that picky?

Well that's the thing... it CANT shut down the VVTI, because it isnt in control of it any more.

BTW, Camcon is just RPM based cam angle adjustment, whereas on my powerfc, it has a load vs rpm map that it changes cam angle with... much more sophisticated, and on par with the factory ECU, rather than being inferior.
