I know cutting corners isnt always the best but im thinking there has to be another plug we can use that will work just as good? Anyone try another plug? I wasnt expecting $13.00 a piece..

What plug for the 2zz did you go with?
Im thinking of trying staying with iridium and trying ngk BKR6EIX-11 which would be a pregapped version of what Twisted is running

dude it's a complete engine who will be influence by the choice of spark plugs

just to give you an example my daily drive (toyota paseo 1997 turbo)

the plugs I buy are the exact same one as the supra TT 94+ (around 25$ each)
BUT
the engine is running as good as it was new

anyway you don't change spark plug each week, I'm sure if you can afford a beams swap you can use some good spark plugs

just for fun I will be making a compression test on my 2nd beams engine soon and just came back from working on the engine

took the spark plugs out and they are 1 of the 2 types that we first mentionned

Denso PK20R11

I'll check the one I have in my running beams engine for fun when I'll get some free time

what is the recommended gap? i know my turbo supra gap at .32 and my GSR has the same compression use .44 so for the beams what is the recommended gap??? Also my conventional timing light unable to check the timing because there is no sparkplugs cable to clip to. How you check the timing for this baby???
