Gumball MR2 BEAMS?

hey guys i was watching the jackass Gumball 3000 from 2001 and i saw some shots of a SuperWhite MR2 with a bigass YAMAHA sticker on the back, license plate "ZZ 007" looked like it was UK....any of you guys know if it was 3SGTE or BEAMS?

would be really cool if it was a BEAMS swap

There's a "Gumball" MR2 that has cropped up in a few of the magazines over here. I think it's a black one -may be wrong?

...I'll try and have a trawl through and see, but I don't remember anything being written about it -too many other supercars to comment on I guess.

YESSSS THAT ONE!!! I actually saw it in different clips from the Gumball DVD from 2001....i never once heard a psssshhhhhhhhttt from a blow off valve so my guess its just a regular 3SGTE MR2, would it not say G-Limited on the back if it was a BEAMS'ed MR2? I'm not giving my hopes up yet....i would like to join the Gumball some day in a toyota tho

ya but the engine lids can be changed so easily. i have a turbo lid and i have a measly 5SFE in there...

Yeah obviously.

I'd still suspect it's turbo though, from the over fueling spatter that can be seen over the back in some shots :P .
