what should I do?? Turbo or replace?
hey gentlemen,
I have been a member for a while and i need advice on the below. I have a 98 toyota celica SSIII. I am located in St. Lucia(island in the caribbean). Right now i have a zex 50 shot of nitrous oxide and a custom exhaust and intake. I now want more power. I have available to me a caldina ST215 exhaust manifold and turbo and also there is a gentleman here who has a St205 3sgte for sale. Should I purchase the turbo engine or should i try turboing the beams. I want to attempt the one with minimal risk. I want about 350 horsepower. If i purchase the turbo engine how much can i get for my beams engine? I can ship over to the U.S by Tropical shipping as I ship items from Florida on weekly basis so shipping to Miami FL should be no problem. Also if i were to sell it would include ECU and harness so ther should be no problem. However before I make decision i need advice. let me know what you guys think. |

It'll be an easier job, and more reliable to use the stock Toyota 3SGTE, but it might be more fun and original to turbo your BEAMS

If you want 350, your not going to get it with a beams without major modifications and $20,000 bucks to put into it.
I would recommend selling your engine and purchasing a turbo engine if you want that kind of power. |
