no rpm

hello
my problem : I have no rpm on my cluster 91.
please help me

you need to buy a tach adaptor from msd to make your original rpm work with the beams engine, signal isn't compatible

MSD ignition part number PN 8920 if I remember right

wasnt very hard to do in a 1992 celica....i dont think its any harder in a mr2

there is manual

PWR - connect to +5V from ecu
GND - ground from ECU
SigIn - silver C-27 TACO from ECU
OUT1 or OUT2 I dont remember now - should go to tachometer....
try both ..one should working

You can simply cut silver cable C-27 TACO --> tachometer
and put there device :

Ecu -C27 --> SigIn [__] OUT1/2 ---> tachometer

Im far away from my car ...so Im not able checking now
