Thanks Glen, i was looking at cleaning it out but dont know much about it, just trying to increse oil pressure in higher rpm's.

Also have a thread on toymods, i found this

Mini: adjustable oil pressure relief valve

can something like this be done to the beams? was thinking this could be good in the the summer months along with an oil cooler.

dont do that as the beams have a hi volume oil pump and on full revs at 3500 oil pressure should be about 650 kp or 90 lbs as it need volume for the vvti

are you running a mechanical oil pressure guage or just the electric toyota 1
1 as it comes from the back of the head pressure will be lower than where it come from say the altezza sump which is from the pan
on my race car in wet sump mode oil sits around 550 to 650 kph at any thing after 3500 rpm
so half of 600 yours should be about 300 kph at back of head
also oil gets picked up then through relief valve then to filter then motor .hope this helps

its just the standard aw11 guage and sender but seems pretty responsive, if i keep it at 4/5000rpm+ it would probably eventually sink back to the level usually seen when idleing.

I can confirm that, had dual temp and oil press gauges and you would get about 6Bar whenever the engine is working hard, 2Barg on my gauge on idle / othersise anyway.

..1Barg and you've got probs apparently.
