OK so as you know wasnt happy with the MAP location and also pointed out so i moved it under the throttle body. Had to make a new bracket and a bit harder because the nut is in the compartment side and also my mini CNC is on the blink and so i had to do it the old fashioned way by hand. Took me a whole 8 hrs..................
Now needs to be powder coated oh BTW will paint the pressure sensor black instead of the brass colour ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by MANDALAY; 03-14-2011 at 06:29 AM.. |

Thought ild do some wiring.
Well in particular for the A/W water pump and LEDS. Below is a pic of the frunk fuse box. You can see that the fogs have been prewired however the LEDS are day driving and the relay for the fogs only activates when the lights are on So with the help of a friend ( you know who you are ) i taped into an accessory wire under the fuse box so as to come on with ignition. I can use the factory switch in the dash for on and off![]() ![]() Instead of using the factory prewiring to the fogs i ran new wire which is thicker gauge and cam with the BOSCH LEDS. Now the next part. There are spare fuse holders but not wired and also a relay plug. No matter what MR2 that relay position isnt used, therefor no relay ![]() However its the same layout as the starter motor relay just the other way ![]() So all i had to do was cut a bit of the plastic out so that it could slide in One on the right with the cut out section ![]() Since i had a spare frunk loom I just removed pigtails so i could use them with the right terminals on the build. Again i used a spare fuse holder to supply power to the relay and the LED accessory wire. ![]() Now because im anal and especially with wiring i needed a positive for the A/W pump relay. Well i just bolted a wire to the big bus bar, as there was a bolt with nothing on it , in the fuse box this way it would still be in the box and clean ![]() I am lucky that there was spare locations in our SW20 this way its all contained and clean BUT MORE importantly its safe, factory looking and serviceable for the fuses ![]() ![]() So you can see the 30 amp fuse and Green relay are for the A/W pump and the Blue realy is for the LEDS Last edited by MANDALAY; 03-14-2011 at 06:30 AM.. |

Yet another good trick for the sleeper look ![]() Btw are the BlackTop powered Altezza's a lot heavier than an ST184 convertible? I seem to be leaving many in the dust... |

Well you have to remember that Blacktop Altezza's are 0-60 in 7.2/8.0seconds.
A Redtop MR2 has a 0-60 of 6seconds. The Altezza's have a lot more bits and are because of that quite heavier. |
