Now it's time for internals questions

We now know that some 3sgte parts fit and some don't

new questions added to the others I already asked... here is a resume of what I know now

1) Beams fuel rail should be good for 750cc
2) 3sgte rods can be used with BEAMS low comp pistons (Glenn)
3) 3sgte pistons CAN NOT be used
4) Beams OEM headgasket is a multi-layer and should be good enough for a turbo setup with a straight head and block
5) 3sgte exhaust manifold are not plug-n-play but bewtween the 2nd gen and 3rd gen one can fit with minor mods on one of the 4 runners
6) 3sgte ARP main studs are useable on the 3sge Beams
7) 3sgte ARP flywheel Bolts are useable on the 3sge Beams (not the one from the 5sfe however)
8) 3sgte 3rd and 4th gen Lower oil Pan (the small one) Are useable on the 3sge Beams

NOW:

1) ARP head studs from the 3sgte?? Can we use them on our 3sge Beams engine?

2) What about Rods Bearings? Are the one from the 3sgte usable on our 3sge Beams? If so which one is the best to handle lot of power?

that's it for now, next question soon

Gabriel

yeah, your not going to find really any internal parts for the Beams motor. If you want cams and springs, talk to celica_ra45 here on the board.

I am still not really good with the beams.
But you sure Toda some parts of the beams, or? They run the parts under 3SG.
And TRD has Camshaft 280 ° with VVT-i function.

TRD and Toda camshafts are for the sxe10 dual vvt-i 3SGE and will not fit on the redtop or greytop motors.

Rumor has it the pistons and rods will work fine in the redtop and greytop.

Im might be wrong but Im sure that Glenn uses the Blacktop BEAMS cams and just does re-grinds on them for the Redtop. Im really surprising how much stuff we can use from the Blacktop.
