Redtop Repaint Valve cover and intake... what paint??

I'm going to get a Redtop BEAMS... I know talk is cheap.... hasnt happened yet...

when i do I'd like to freshen up the valve cover paint, i've noticed that almost all of them for sale are stained and or faded... do they clean up well or do they need repaint???

has anyone found a paint that is readily available that is exactly like factory??

I think its Toyota paint code E040

A paint shop of that number can mix the paint exactly to the original and paint it for you.

you can powdercoat the intake, but not the valve cover as it's plastic. so just get some high temp paint

The beams red valve cover really isn't a valve cover, its more of a coil and wires cover and as stated above, plastic.

I recommend getting both painted from the same place or same bottle. You don't want to get 2 different colors going on each piece

Well they're slightly different colours from standard anyway.
