negative, at least not that I know it can....TPS couldn't somehow get energized and turn open the TB can it? I noticed a bit of a click each time it oscillates....the revs go up and sort of a clack between the engine rumble and it goes down again, I associate this with me going nuts & hearing things....this of course leads me to want to believe the TPS is messing with me and getting a life of it's own. What bothers me is that after all this work tracing down the Tc instead of TE1 thing, the engine throws no codes, yet its operating severely funky... |

Do you have the specs on the TPS to check if it's good? IF not can someone chime in with them from the FSM?
Did you remove/loosen the TPS on the throttle body? If so, it would need to be set again... if it didn't test out bad. Sounds more like an ISCV/Throttle body problem, or a vacuum leak vs. anything else. (to me) Andrew |

TPS seems to be working proper, resistance increases properly when TB is opened, MANDALAY chimed in with voltage specs in earlier post on page 1 of this thread. Did remove TPS but there is no adjustment screw for it....
I'm gonna check the MAF again next....what bothers me is, IF the MAF,TPS,ISCV is/are bad it's not reporting it.....shouldn't they throw a code if they are not running within spec anymore? I need to know if EVG is the same as E2G on the MAF... |

The TPS won't have a 'screw' to adjust it.
It's adjusted by loosening the two screws that hold it to the T/B and rotating it in most cases... Andrew |

OH MY GOOD GOD DAMN GOD!!!
turns out it was the vacuum line running from the FPR to the Throttle Body....it had a tiny little tear in it!!!! Guys, go replace your vacuum lines before you hit a type of snag I did!! |

Next I am making a little home made defuser for inside the intake, to make the flow onto the MAF more uniform. edit: MANDALAY you might wanna look into placing a defuser in front of your MAF as well, should you keep it on your boosted build.... |
