What position is the alternator ? down the bottom like a mr2 or up top like a celica.
In other words have you a celica clip ?

Any MR2 you got there in the States will be OK. On the EPC even the 5SFE has the same number gee even the alternator bracket is the same.
So you should have no problems

So, basicly you're saying there is no alternative to this belt in the US.

Have no idea ?
Ill get you the measurement , its a 5 rib and then see if your Toyota dealer will help you.
Or checkout GATES for a non OEM.
Hope thats all you will need as for anything else apart for some comon items that MIGHT be interchangeable you will NOT BE ABLE to get in the States , sorry man, its your rules

just take the belt to any local speedshop and get one the same size.. I used an AC delco belt on mine and have no problem... just need the same size and that's it... not because it's a beams engine that you are never able to find something that fit

There you go well done.
Maybe mr2mkii can also suggest a timing belt or a list of other items that have been replaced with parts that are available over there.
Accesory belts after my research are easy. They are just belts

I found this online store. Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto out of Madison, WI

It seems to have a lot of parts imported. If you look in the catalog under Toyota MR2, Celica there are references to 3sge's. I'm not sure if they are beams or not. If someone could verify this that'd be great.

timing belt I'll try to in a near future, since I already have one disassembled of the beams project engine, I'll try to get an replacement one

concerning the alternator belt, as you said, they are just belts... bring them to your local speedshop and they will measure it and give you one a little smaller (new is always smaller) and it will fit fine

I already have a list of some parts that can be used and I'm still working on it... same for the part number list and I'll do my best to share everything with you guys when I'll be done

Yes, the timing belt is probably the most important. If there is an alternate out there that'd be sweet.

depends on where you live... part number of beams engine give the same result to a local dealer compare to a Nissan part number in a Chrysler dealer... it means nothing...

I'll see what I can do
