Looking for "Adjusting CAM PULLEY " for exhaust cam on red-top , aftermarket Ex for Altezza (black-top) will fit ?? for exlample : TODA . or I should use standard 3s-ge rev3 adjusting pulley ?? He's talking about for exhaust side only, where there isnt VVTI.
On the intake side, it doesnt matter where the actual cam is, so long as the belt is lined up properly with the camgear... as when the engine starts up, the pulley shifts the cam to where it wants it to be. |

pascal you will never get a black top exhaust cam to fit a red top no way
unless you bolt a black top head onto your red top but you can use a veraible cam pulley from a gen 3 motor if you like to adjust it , but why bother ,. if the cams are std |

thx Glenn ,
Ad2. I need confirmation that for exhaust cam I can use 3s-ge rev3 pulley Ad1. On std VVTi controller there are bolts for adjust ,my question was about this , Why Im asking those questions , simple going to re-grinding standard red-top cams . |

ok so you are going to take lift away to regrind your cams and put bigger shims under so say 3.20 mm now and then up to 4.20 mm shims for what maybe only 5hp increase '
also do not play around with those bolts un less you know what you are doing and as i said gen 3 pulleys are the same for the exhaust |

O.k. because I have a few questions:
Toda have only for the Blacktop aktiv VVTi In: 268 deg 12mm lift Ex: 264 deg 11mm lift These are the values for the Camshaft. By how many moves the dual VVTi the value? Adjusts the dual VVTi valve inlet and outlet at the same time? Edit: Can I read where? |

Toda saying only : duration and lift , You need to know opening/closing deg , center-line Adjusting IN or EX or both IN/EX ???how much ??? For answer those questions You really need know details about those cam's , reading-profile (deg by deg ) or just figure out this on the dyno by some one with experience. |

Im not sure about that , but maybe TODA did those cams PnP , means replacing stock cams and stock-ecu can handle that on stock vvt-i setting .
or there is manual-how-to attached to TODA cams Maybe just ask TODA ![]() |
