? Cant you install the alternator yourself. Its easy unless your bolts are all rusted and jammed

Update: I removed my alternator in 5 minutes this past Saturday

![]() Really doing this SC setup , you have to wonder why Toyota didnt put the alternator in the MR2 in the Celica position. **** it would have saved the weight of that anchor they call the altrernator bracket |

My thoughts are the wanted to keep it lower to keep overall center of gravity low. Just like porsche moves thier brake calpiers down low and towards the center of the car. every bit helps.

Good call but the celica bracket is about one tenth the weight of the MR2 one.
