EVERYONE WORKSHOP MANUALS ARE AVAILABLE

Ok now I know I'm only new to this forum but I have noticed that quite a few of you have asked about where to obtain a workshop or repair manual relating to the BEAMS engine.
I know of a company in New Zealand that translates Japanese workshop and owners manuals for many vehicles. On their website they do list workshop manuals for the BEAMS specific vehicles eg. Celica, MR2 and Altezza. The only problem is that they will not translate these manuals until they obtain enough requests to do so.
So what I am asking for all the good of the worldwide BEAMS community is that everyone on here log onto this site and register your interest for these manuals. It would be helpful to register for all three makes of vehicle to help get the numbers up. I have already done so myself. As you will see there is not much interest to date but one can assume that for one there are not many of these vehicles worldwide and secondly this company is probably not that well known.
I know that I for one (even though I do not even own a BEAMS) would be quite happy to have this sort of information for all three vehicles so help us all out guys (and girls)
Links to each vehicle are here;

Celica - CELICA (20 SERIES SS-I, SS-II, SS-III, GT-FOUR)

MR2 - MR2 (GT, GT LIMITED, GT-S)

Altezza - ALTEZZA All other sections(10 SERIES)

Some may notice that the Altezza engine mechanical manual is already available so feel free to purchase this one as well
Lets see what numbers we can get!!!!

I personally would love to see the manual translated, if they really do have it.
Since i have an original , possibley you could get them just to fax a single page of the red top with the page number to see if its true ?
But frankley to get 450 commitments aint going to happen at $300 a pop gee thats
$135,000 no way

Yes mate I realise it's a hard ask but we are never going to get 150 people to just stumble across this and hope for the best. I'm only advertising it so that people know it is there and try and get some numbers up by bringing it to light to the BEAMS community.
As they say "you don't know if you don't ask"

^ THATS COOL BUDDY.
Well i gave them a call and asked if they have the RED TOP VVTI BEAMS in the workshop manual.
They will email me back with the answer.
If it doesnt i pointed it out to them it would be a waste of time as the other manuals are available dim a dozen over on e-bay.
If there answer is yes ill get them to prove it to me by scanning a single page

Bugger!!
But it does specifically state VVTi in the Celica description so one has to assume this is the redtop engine. If this is the case then most of the engine information should be relevant to the MR2 anyway.

Hey its the closest we have come to something in english

Can you not just get yours translated and post it up for the beams community to use?

$5000 for a translation is just plain extortionist, I can usually just bribe my friend with beer to translate stuff for me, that's how I got my tom's stuff translated.
