You can have the best ECU but if you don't have a tuner for it, than what's the point? With that said, I don't believe it gets much better than Motec. Just make sure the ECU you get can control dual vvti if it's a blacktop.

Power FC, simple *almost* plug and play, not too many tuning capabilities due to simplicity

Send a message via ICQ to Celica RA45
im using a m800 motec on my race altezza motor ,as im using 8 injectors 50mm throttles and still using some vvti and its so easy once you have it tuned and set up
there are others that do vvti as well autronic .adaptronic .link and maybe wolf ems as well

I agree with the boys saying motec but it does get rather expensive buying the upgrades im going to use the magnetti marelli for my beams . no upgrades to buy it will take the vvti and aything else you can throw at it and the distrbutor is local melb and is very helpful

all after market ecu's with 2 extra output channels should be able to let the vvti work.

What I would like to know is a pattern of the change of rpm on the vvti for the standard mode. In other words, at what rpm are the cam positions changed and how (what voltage is sent to the inlet and outlet cams?

Interesting question. Unfortunatley i dont think you will get an answer
Only people that could, would be someone who has tuned their car with an aftermarket, not that many.
