yes ,but you need to recut your seats as these are 35mm for inlet fwd red tops are 34.5 and the exhaust is the same size

oh, thats alright because i think im going to have to send the head out anyway. Are these valves fully titanium, or just the shaft? I'm just wondering because I heard that they use partially titanium (other half is aluminum or steel I think) valves in some of the dirtbikes (not sure if it applies to cars) and they were having problems with them splitting apart and ruining engines. Thanks

these are all titatium ,valve stem and head of valve ,and a different compound of titatium for the exhaust as well

BTW, why are they Titanium? Not for the light weight is it? Is it because they stretch or flex less under high heat conditions? Or does it shed heat better, thus not getting hot enough for flex/stretch?

its only the manual motor that has the titatium and it also has a higher rev limit and higher comp as well
so 11.5 to 1 comp the inlet valves weigh 22grams and 17grams red top 11to 1 comp inlet valves are 44grams and 35grams exhaust so maybe thats how they get there 10hp extra ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
