Celica to MR2 swap

Things that need to be swapped ,
air box
charcoal canister
water outlet
water hoses in and out
dip stick
crank pulley
alternator bracket
alternator
idler pulley and bracket complete
crankshaft pulley
wiring ( definitely best left to some one who knows ) unless its un cut
engine mount
belts
shields
b-pipe
gear box or simpler to re jig it
Air conditioner compressor
power steering and all the associated brackets and piping
bolts ,nuts
Fuel lines
fuel return
clips
Gasket
Crankcase vent hoses
Brake vacuum hose
Heater hoses
So there are a lot of things.
How do i know this well needed some of this just to put my SC in

NOTE
This is for making a Celica Beams into an OEM MR2 Beams.
However not all the above are necessary to do a swap as some creative workings can make it work.
This is to finally show all the different parts between the Celica and the MR2

LOL, you're making excuses to not work on your supercharger build aren't you???

would be a thing to maybe include the OEM part numbers to all of those.....I know its a pain to look them all up, but it would settle it once and for all....plus it could give it a real world $ value to it all...

An asterisk next to the parts that were used on previous generation turbos, if any, would be a big help as well. Have to put together a list of parts I can't get locally.

yeah I was about to say, like none are exchangable LOL, that crank pulley is probably also used on 5SFE & the like.
Was it the connecting rods from Caldina 3SGTE also similar-ish to BEAMS?

Yes rods are the same only > st215 not the MR2 turbos

Nice work on compiling the total list of differences.

However for a realistic swap, where people would want to buy/find the minimum to get it going, what would be required?

I'm thinking it would be along the lines of...

Nice to have the alternator down on the 'low' side but it's not really necessary...
Easy enough to use existing gearbox and the like...
And so forth.

Lot of other things fit or work even if the part numbers are different.
Pulling out celica spec nuts and bolts and replacing them with MR2 spec nuts and bolts isnt really gonna be a worthwhile way to spend money, hahaha.

Totally agree. Its just to point out what is different. And even if a MR2 lip was available and dearer it still would be cheaper that getting a celica one and worrying about all the different parts.
PS as long as it isnt a rediculous price.

Oh BTW the engine bracket needs to be cut down or a turbo one used if the alternator is kept up top. That accessory belt is too close.
