Make sure you get the airbox and airflow meter.

Also, doesnt that gearbox code mean it's non LSD?

Thats a genuine MR2 engine Take it if compression ok.
B-pipe, air box and pipes, charcoal canister,O2 sensor.
What N/A do you have.
Great find which country ?
But you have something on it that even I DONT HAVE, see that hose that is infront of the inlet manifold which has a bracket that is joined to the right side of the red manifold.
What is that where does it go and joined to what ?
I have that bracket as we all do but even on the EPC have no idea why Toyota have it there.

Please if you get it before you start to rip into it untangle it and take a lot of photos as i have never seen a complete engine with all the pieces together where Toyota put them

Nope, in which picture?

Could you circle it or something?

Do you mean that little nozzle thing between the 1st and 2nd intake runners on this picture?

Neither of my manifolds had that...

mandalay, i have a 91 na running 3sge, stock. and it's probably an australian spec model.
i'm from singapore
yea, curious where it leads too, if we're looking at the same hose, i have a close up of it..
i'm still in the midst of deciding to buy it, prob after the swapping and compatibilities issues are more or less taken care of first. if i do, i'll take all the pictures for you

roman, i think that gearbox code is for auto trans..
since its auto, anyone has an idea if would it be easy to mate a manual with it?

it doesn't come with an airbox, what i see, is what i took and what i will be getting. doesn't an aftermarket air filter do the trick? or it doesn't, or there isn't any. anyhow i've checked with my local parts agent, he says shouldn't be a problem to get parts, from he's e-catalog it shows 97+ model, being just over 10 years old, it should still be available. just that he doesn't store them and have to order from japan.

Yeah the airflow meter is housed in the air filter box though, so it's handy to have the piping and airbox.

Aahh, if it's an auto trans then that makes sense I guess.

Nothing hard about switching to a manual box!

Holy hell I was about to spam you about that nipple in between #1 & #2 runner....thats funny....awesome *true* MR2 BEAMS! I sure as hell don't have that nipple on my manifold.

Is that hose you speak of going to the brake booster? PCV? Cannister?

All you guys that dont have the nipple have an engine that was the first six months of production. Then they added it.
Have a look at the picture Roman copied see that pipe accross the front and touching/connected to the 4th runner.
Wish i was better with computers and i would have marked it

^ smart ass
Yes thats it looks like its bracketed there. We all have that nut/bracket on the inlet. But i have nothing attached to it. Thought it might ne originally there for the other models, celica etc. BUT this is a MR2 engine so i really want to find out what it is and where it goes.
