Beams ECU questions

I recently bought a Beams red top out of an MR2 for my '91, but it didn't come with the ECU or wiring harness. I found the ECU from a black top Beams for sale and was curious if that would work or if I could just use the original ECU.

Also, if anyone knows where I can find the ECU and wire harness please let me know.

Thanks,
Cameron

That's my baby.

Send a message via ICQ to Celica RA45
it would be better to run the right ecu for it ,so you need the red top and loom from either sw20 mr2 or last st202 celica with red top in it
Celica RA45 is online now

Yes it would(celica beams ecu) the person to talk to about that would be mr220v on here as he makes conversion harnesses for our swap and as far as finding an ecu it is rather hard but not impossible!

Altezza ECU isnt going to work, but just about anything else will.

Celica, caldina, MR2, should all have a loom/ecu that will work properly with it.

altezza motor has a few more 'features' like computer controlled throttle body and exhaust side VVTI which mean it will most likely go WTF WTF when plugged on to a single VVTI engine.

No need for stereo crap when you have a BEAMS, makes such nice music!
BlackTop ECU won't work for sh*t on your RedTop, besides the BlackTop is that CAN-Bus stuff too.
If you find a BEAMS cut with a complete wiring-harness and ECU, it's teh win. Now see if you can get the matching gauges too for even moar win. Plus you will get ALL the girls now!
All hail MR220V!!

I'm asking $350AUD + shipping

Bottom left hand a corner & I should be able to throw in the plugs if you need them too for your wiring loom:

Using XE - The World's Favorite Currency and Foreign Exchange Site it works out to be 272.96USD so lets say even 300USD for shipping too and any extra costs Ill cover for ya. I can take Paypal if thats makes it easier too.

Paypal would probably be easiest. Give me a day or so. How long do you suppose it'll take to ship it?
