Valve clearance question

I need it for yesterday, engine is at the machine shop, block is ready and head is almost done... just missing the valve clearance... supposed to be done tomorrow

mechanic will probably use the same as all the toyota engine but I'd like to make sure by having the information by someone who knows about beams engine

if any of you guys can answer this I'll be more then happy

Gabriel

Once again thanks Glen

I have an other question

you mention between 9 to 13 on inlet valves and 11 to 15 on exhaust valves

Servin gave this link

http://www.mr2.com/forums/beams/Toyo...g-limited.html

Valve clearance (at the time of cold):
IN 0.17 - 0.27mm
OUT 0.32 - 0.42mm

which one should I refer to?

My engine is getting back at machine shop in the next month when I'll have all my gaskets and pump (oil, water)

since my builder need to change valve seals he'll remove the valves and I'll ask him to readjust them with the right specs (last time he did it based on 3sgte)

so I'd like to have the right number

for sure the number I need are at cold since the engine is completely opened and not running at all lol

im giving you the widest figure as mine is in thou or the other guys is mm which is 17 to 27 so try to find the most common 1 size like 10 thou and on the exhaust try 12 thou and you have to do it with the head on or it will change agian glenn
