How come one front side indicator is white, the other orange?

The give away will be red stitching on the steering wheel and shift knob, red writing/markings in/on the tacho.

Some also had stickers on the doors say 200ps engine.

Also look by the cam cover, just below the part where the stick goes into for the engine bay stand.

If that section looks to have been cut away and bodged up, or the cam cover touches the side, then that would be an indicator of it being a swap.

It looks pretty legit though, pity it doesnt have the factory wheels.

Looks genuine to me . Only thing is the factory beams did not have the x reinforcment in the engine bay.
Also on the fire wall there should be a clip that holds the accelerator cable and thats what it should be doing . The Beams had a longer accelerator cable.

Nice find

Mate it looked original enough on the pistonheads advert, the most obvious thing seemed to be a front end smash and perhaps not that well put back together. The price on the pistonhead ad seemed fair for an engine and running gear -with a free shell to move it

Post a pic of the clocks though -I wasn't too sure about them though?

(never noticed the indicators before though -crazy how folk won't fix stuff properly even to sell it)

I found it on my EPC built 12/97 . You removed the pictures but it says its a G model coupe NO TEE TOP ?
Noticed the glove box has colour flaked off around the lock. Seems that Toyota sprayed the colour on that part as it didnt match the rest of the trim. Happens eventually to all our cars EXPENSIVE PART

Interesting that it's got an MPH scale tacho...

I thought that the beams powered versions were only available brand new in Japan?

In which case, 180kph speedo...

If you have the electronic manual , yes.
Also if you have Toyota's EPC covering all the BEAMS manufactured.
Both of which i have .

Weird though yours is a tee-top ? hum
