Exclamation head GASKET

has anyone have a picture of the head gasket?
it's just I'm talking with cometic to see if it's posible to create that gasket. so they required one good picture.

I don't want to use toyota's gasket beacuse i'm starting to buy some aftermarket parts for my turbo proyect.

thanks

head GASKET

Might be best to get the OEM Toyota head gasket. I highly doubt they can get it right from just a picture, unless they know all the sizes but only want to see about any BEAMS specific extra passages. You could pull yours off just for this purpose, I would.

I had cometic make me one for my 5S turbo build....with an OEM 5S piece as reference.

The OEM piece is multi-layer steel if I remember correctly.

hi, they want that pic just to see if they can make it,if they have the necesary machine. after that i'm going to send one OEM gasket.

I highly doubt they can't make it, so just to save some money in the shippment of the OEM gasket they required that pic

thanks

I am 100% sure they can make it. I think what they are potentially worried about is that it is severely different from the other 3S engines, which it is not. The reason here being that it will be pretty quick and easy to make one without totally designing a brand new design of the OEM gasket.....saves time and money.

Custom GSXR 1100 head gaskets is something I have ordered many times from them...

When I had all 3gaskets you could pretty much see right through all the holes, they all matched up.
That was a gen3 3SGTE gasket, 3SGE gasket and the beams gasket.

Sounds like spending money for the sake of spending money.

Most of the time people change head gaskets, is to go to a multi layer steel one...

Which is what the beams engine already comes factory with.

Toyota in the UK still have the TRD headgaskets so that is relatively useful.

I also have a spare OEM beams one and that looks like 2 of the layers can be taken out and then rivet it back up (Toyota do gasket kits) to increase compression.

There you go. I know they make the 3SGTE headgasket, so just tell them to make you one of those for the BEAMS

Yes, but the gen 2 3SGTE doesnt come with a factory metal head gasket, so it's actually worthwhile.

So that's like saying you want an UN-Multi-layered steel head gasket right? Single sheet will do??
