I don't have a parts list for the Blacktop unfortunately. For the redtop parts list that is on the site, that took a lot of convincing, a little intimidating, and a huge headache to get that. So for the blacktop, im sure it will be just as hard.

On a side note.....what manifold is that, it doesn't look custom, looks like a stock piece. Reason is because of the heat sheild studs on it, who takes the time to weld in heat shield studs when you can attach it a much easier way.

It kills me that people turbo a stock beams engine. Granted, it can handle up to about 260, but they always want more, and blow the engine. Just baffles me. If your gonna spend the time turboing somthing, do it the right way and get some beefy internals.

hmmm... bout the part list... i try to get contact with few of my Altezza owner friends... if they have it in hardcopy... may be i can scan it... but chances r slim...

the turbo manifold... really confusing... how many stud does BEAMS exhaust ports have?! i have checked on my friend's ST205 engine (he is the only 1 have that under his ST183 front hook)... it has 8 stud... 3rd gen has 7... refer to the TRIAL's ST202... it is a stock manifold...

i dont have any intention to turbo charge my BEAMS... but would like to have 270hp NA motor like the fully built-up BLACK TOP since my RED TOP's head is leaking...

also if standard ST202 n ST205 parts r interchangable with BEAMS... then i dont have a problem to get any spareparts...

RED n BLACK TOP...
suspect these blocks r the same... refer to the TRD spare part list for 270ps BLACK TOP... BLACK TOP's block has only 1 oil feeder hole... can anyone confirm about this...?!

this is actually a good thing, I had totally forgotten about this post....that "turbo manifold" looks like it could be from a grey-top perhaps and had a turbo-flange welded onto it.....perhaps it is a non-beams manifold that was adjusted to fit....do not know. It does really look like it was an OEM manifold that was modified to work with a turbo-flange....

Why go thru all that trouble when you can use a Blacktop Turbo manifold? Its bolts right up the only thing you have to do is get a custom downpipe. Or is there something im missing?

And you can find this here turbo manifold?
Probably cheaper/easier to take OEM manifold and chop it up to fit the turbo-flange. It would be less monies than buying brandname turbo-manifold. I don't get how some of you guys are willing to pay 1000+ $ for a regular tubular exhaust manifold....I welded up my own turbo manifold(s) a bunch of times now....for probably what ended up being 350$ in 316 stainless steel piping & argon to weld with....

eBay Motors: Used HKS GT-SS 280HP Turbo Kit Altezza SXE10 3SGE (item 300257306708 end time Sep-19-08 08:33:31 PDT)

Thats the whole kit but if i did some more searching i could probably find just the manifold. I dont know why people think you need to go custom kits for turboing the Redtop BEAMS.

Well it takes money to play the game. A well engineered piece is going to cost money. Im considering building a custom manifold out of Burns Stainless($$$) but itll be worth it. Those quick easy custom manifold jobs usually dont hold up long, the welds fall apart, and crack. Going turbo isnt something you go cheap on, bare minimum spending you should do for a complete turbo kit is 3k but thats a bare bones kit.
