Well I have a new EMS coming as soon as I sort out my last problem and its all running like it should be!

Shame I cant fit quad throttles into my ST184 otherwise Id do it! well I assume the firewall would stop me from having these, no idea what the size of them are yet.

re parts

yes all are new
billet inlet cam 1000 aussie ,billet exhaust 500 aussie with cam pro file of mine put on
pistons about 1200 aussie a set with rings
rods are a special crom moly 1500 a set of 4
valve springs 800 a set of 16
vvti controller changed from 26% to new movement this is 300 aussie change over
all these parts will require a new ecu to run vvti so either Motec .Autronic or apexi i think will run it as well as what roman mentioned as well
also make quads to bolt on from 45mm 48mm and 50 mm they cost about 250 aussie each and include linkages
manifolds can still be bought from TRD and are about 800 aussie there abouts

these parts work as i tried these out on my race motors and my motors still run on 98 octane fuel and comp ratio is about 12.5 to 1
all prices plus postage thanks glenn

If you would like, I will throw those up on the Beams Website for free.

I will need pictures and a brief discription of each item for the Site. It would make a nice edition to the website and I bet you would be able to gain interest from people willing to purchase those items as they are not available elsewhere and simply don't know about them.

Now this is something I found interesting:

3SGE ITB FWD Setup

It enables the fitment of Throttle Boides on a FWD Gen 3 3SGE. Although rather pricey does anyone know if the lower gen 3 intake manifold sizes are the same as the BEAMS?

Things are looking up for me yet!

Was more looking at not just the ITBs but the adaptor plate so we can use ITBs in our FWD Celicas... otherwise the ITBs would hit the firewall if you know what I mean.

Sports Injection Kit... sweet god that would be awesome to have, might chew through the gas but what a weapon it would be to bad its still in development!

EDIT: But does Glenn sell the adaptor to fit FWD cars? Hopefully he'll pop in shortly and let us know! And would say the Brashboy Power FC beable to handle ITBs such as these or would you have to go for something like a Motec?

actually, i think the adapter is made for the FWD cars, i think if you put it on an SW20, your gonna be cutting something....but lets let glenn chime in on this one, he's the pro.

oh god i just ruined myself

http://www.toda-racing.jp/product/on...sg/3sg-09.html

2.2 liter BEAMS RedTop Stroker Turbo.....im fantasizing.....low compression, forged, boost, boooooooooooost!

can you guys make that website disappear? dammit!!!

oh hey about ITB's how the hell do those measure flow? no MAF, no MAP, how is that handled? I think that answers your Q about PowerFC or brashboyECU Wayno....i think you'd have to go with something more exotic that can somehow measure flow per throttle body....

im assuming they are the same, and probably uprated from 3SGTE days, i know the altezza's do okay on 8psi of boost with stock everything so the bottom end should be pretty strong, and if they are anything like the 3SGTE then the bottom end is hella strong....i dont see why Toyota would go with an inferior design for a newer generation engine...plus it makes no sense to me why they would make a specific bottom end for just the BlackTop, i say they are the same! hehehehe

I'm still trying to decide whether to go turbo or itb's in the future myself. I've got a greddy emanage ultimate to hook up once i get a harness, and it can do some fancy stuff like output a airflow meter map, so you can get rid of the afm and use tps or map for tuning.

I've seen they have released a v-manage in japan, that will work along side the emanage ultimate, and it controls the vvti portion of things.

With Itb's though, if you enclosed them in airbox you could still keep the afm upstream of it, much like the silvertop 4age does i think.

the quads and including inlet and ram tube is 165mm in length in total and you would need another 50mm for clearence to the fire wall
