I guess i'm eligible for this thread now. Added my temporary downpipe this weekend, so now my motor doesn't sound like a b-29 coming in for landing. The engine feels very smooth. I've only had it on the road once just to get it warmed up. Engine wise, everything seems ok.

I'll have some pics here shortly. Ncturnal took some photos of the process while I was working on it.

The wiring harness I made for the swap seems to be doing well as well. I made this harness out of a cut beams harness, and the stock 5sfe harness. I still have to pull the harness off, and loom everything up, but in general everything fits well. Its a bit easier to wire for the 96+ jdm ecu's. They are similar to our standard obd2, but lack things like evap, or the second o2.

If anybody wants to do this swap and doesn't want to track down a beams harness, I can make more of these.

    Here are the pics:

Yes im a friut cake l ditched my beams clip AND am in the process of building a completely BRAND NEW engine. The whole engine bay all 963 parts.

He is in the process to make it a show and tell and have a documented build up of the motor. I look forward to it !!!!
It will be very detailed including all the parts with part numbers and can be used as a reference for ALL THE BEAMS FANS.
