where to buy new jdm beams parts
Hey, I need an accessory belt, water pump + any gaskets or O-rings that go with it, an idler bearing on the acc. belt (6204DU2), and another idler bearing on the timing belt (368D219DWA18). I'd like to get these things new before I put my motor in the car. I tried asking the guys from lithia toyota in their forum, but he said they cant get the jdm parts. Does anyone know where I can get these parts new? thanks

Hey Angelo and Psu you can get certain gen3 parts in the US. It all depends on the dealer and they dont cross reference to any car, its just a available number in the system. Contact Aaron at Lithia I believe he can order the gen3 water pump its the same as the GTE. I got my timing belt for my BEAMS from a local dealer since my BEAMS uses a late gen3 belt.

Agree Servin some of the parts are the same as the GEN 3 turbo. As long as you can get GEN 3 turbo parts then your ok.
But EPC shows different number for the timing belts |

Be careful with that as I thinks there is a slight difference between a gen2 and a gen3 someone on here made a post about it in the beams forum oh yea it was 94MR2 search "beams water pump" see if that helps!

94MR2's thread says that the gen2 will work... now im confused lol
Also, does anyone know where I can get thos bearings? One is the idler/tensioner for the altenator belt, and the other is the idler/tensioner for the timing belt. Thanks guys Last edited by psuPbikeRider88; 07-27-2009 at 06:49 PM.. |

After reading the other thread you posted its a bit more clearer.
You need water pump Gasket Alternator tensioner for celica or Rav4 Belt with regards to the timming belt do you require both pulleys , ones an idler the other is the tensioning pulley |

do you think you could get a pic of how the "mr2 layout" is... I'm thinking thats how I'm going to set it up if I can. As far as the timing belt bearing, Its the one that goes right beneath the cam gears (kinda inbetween and below them).

Thats the timing belt tensioner .
For cost effectiveness stay on the celica layout or else it will cost you a lot. I think best you post some pictures and share your concerns |

Ill try to get pictures this weekend when Im home. My mr2 already had a redtop in it, so im really just trying to use all the same stuff from the redtop, just with the greytop in place on the block and head. The swap is already complete, just needed a fresh head and block etc. The only problem, is that when i took my redtop out... I figured there was only one place everthing could go, so im not sure if it was swapped to mr2 layout, or kept on the celica layout. How can I tell?... by looking at the harness?
