Cool Phoenix Power Exhaust Manifold

I finally found one!!! YIPPEEE!!!

Ive been a member of Taka Kaira for quite sometime now and have repeatly asked them to stock such brands as Phoenix Power and they have finally come through for me!! Ive bought heaps of stuff from these guys in the past and fully support them!

TakaKeira Online

Well it might hurt me in shipping but I'm definately putting one of these babies on order!!

We have a source for exhaust mainifolds we can buy directly off a website now guys, ENJOY!!

Very nice. This is also useful from the perspective of using a Caldina engine for a beams swap, or any other beams motor that came with the catalytic converter in the manifold.

The header is a little pricey, but part of that will be offset by the fact that you won't need custom exhaust work and you can take better advantage of the usually cheaper Caldina engines.

Yeah its definately not a cheap item but dare say custom in stainless steel would be more unless you got mates! My mates arnt that good to me!

PHOENIX: They havnt put the correct years in there, Ive already confirmed with them and theyre still sorting out the list but if you click on the SW20 for part number 76591 you will see this is for VVTi only. They said this VVTi version is different both in lining up and in design hence why it is VVTi only!

Any got any photos of a TRD or TOMS manifold we can later compare with this Phoenix one?

SWEET Phoneix power also offers Part NO: 76589, Departure II NA Muffler (stainless). Too bad its only one canister, but it says that this muffler set include the 2-1 Center Pipe and the tail muffler after catalizer. I'm so tempted to buy it just for that. My clip did'nt come with that so I have to make a custom sectional piping. Anyone know where I can find a 2-1 flange?

wtf i the exhaust ports on the VVTi head match up with 5SFE/3SFE manifolds, i put them side by side and they are the same size as far as bolt patterns and exhaust runners are concerned.....

for 899$ that better be 3mm or thicker 316 quality stainless steel piping & perfectly tig welded by a human being....real expensive IMHO

i have 300$ worth of 48.5mm (3mm wall thickness) 316 stainless steel 90 degree elbows & piping here that im lining up for my future exhaust manifold project....im still looking for an adequate stainless plate of similar 316 or even 304 quality....

Cool

Yeah its a shame they didnt include the 2-1 piece as a separate item as I would have loved to get that too as it would have the sensor hole with it but looks like I may have to just make a piece up with the same size piping myself!

Anyone know what size piping they use for the extractors? I know the factory ones are quite small and Ive seen these ones on Maikl ride and they look quite decently big!

Maikl on 6GC.NET

he talks about "70' custom exhaust sustem " by which i think he means 70mm which is about 2.75 inch, but the runners he uses on his exhaust manifold look su****iously alot like my 48.5mm ones...so say about 52mm outside diameter

just remember, our engines flow gas like a bat outta hell, so yeah bigger runners would help, just so long as you put some sort of back pressure on the exhaust.

WFX: i suggest you do what he did, just as i have, get the 1.3 bar TRD radiator cap, it really does do some magic

im currently making myself a oil catch-can and placing it just where he has it lol

which end? my flex pipe (oem it looks like) just has a piece of ovalled pipe where the 2 come together...looks like 2 semi halved 2.5inch welded together then its flex pipe and exits at 2.5" which i continued all the way thru (no cat) to the end....

You seem pretty certain of this match. I took a 2nd gen 3sge (same as the 1991 5sfe) exhaust manifold and tried to put it on my beams motor. The bolt pattern and port spacing was totally different.

This was a 1991 motor. Did the pattern on the 5s change from 1991 to 1999? What have you tried exactly?

I agree, I tried a 2nd gen manifold and its tottally different, it would be cool to know if the 3s-fe or 5s-fe went through a revision at some point and became the same.

As for 2.5 inch exhausts, I beleive I read some posts a while back by maikl in which he was complaining about losing power, changing from 2.5 inch down to 2.25 inch pipework found him the power he'd lost, I personally will be going for a 2.25 inch system, possibly along with the phoenix power manifold if i can afford it.

Yeah I thought about that kit aswell - As it fits below the inlet manifold, you'd have to cut into the trunk to squeeze some of the plumbing in.

That Phoenix Power manifold is pure sex - I will have to invest in that + the Departure 2 system me thinks!

ha what the hell manifold am i looking at then.....weird weird weird

i was running 2.5 inch without resonator for a while which utterly sucked ass...not enough back-pressure or rather no back-pressure...added a vibrant performance 2.5inch resonator & muffler to the thing and gained all my long lost power back!

have any of you ever noticed how the Toyota Altezza code ise SXE10 like Sexy Ten heh, sexy indeed!
