Which oil do you use

Nearly completed my 1000 kms run in of the new engine and LSD gear box.
Just wanted to know what every one is using on their Beams and feed backs as im going to drain the system and refill new oils.
l was thinking of continuing with Toyota's 10/30W VVTi oil for the engine and
REDLINE 75/90 for the gear box.

Yeh buddy Toyota does sell VVTi oil here,
1000 kms of running in Getting a lot of looking as it is street legal but its missing bumpers , boot and engine lids and trim.
Gee inside l only have a seat and the cluster taped up.
Want to make sure everything is ok before putting it all together .
3rd gear is awesome

I would stay well clear of redline in the gearbox. I had this in my gearbox when i got my car and i never thought it ran right. Had the oil changed out after a couple of motorkarnas and the differnce was relly noticeable. Went straight into gear that little bit faster. Ill check when i get home what was put in as i cant remember
As for the motor all i will is use Castrol Edge Sport 5W-30

Yes. For the price of the oil and filter.

Here, you need this. MR2-Tech.com - BGB

Read the entire thing, go to the stealership and buy one actually.

p.s. This is the BEAMS section. Not sure what you have but you should post there and ask more questions there or you could get confused because a beams is very different from a 5sfe or 3sgte.

Nothing but Mobile one goes in any of my cars!!! I don't have a beams but every car I've owned got the Mobile one treatment w/ K&N oil filter! I use to work for a lube shop and I would not trust anything but mobile one!

Quick story: A guy came into the shop and said he was in serious need of an oil change! His sticker said he was 20,000 mile overdue! I pulled the drain plug and it came out looking like honey and poured out like new milk! 0 goop!!!! I had to ask when he got the oil changed last he told me "over 20 some thousand miles ago but I used Mobile one!"

Nothing else will ever go in my engines!!!
