There are the Power FC and Brash Boy EMS, then you can go full standalone i.e. Motec 400. I would say the Power FC is your best bet/bang for buck. They can go for a used one around $700. The C-One is a reflash/chip, im real curious about it but at $1600 i think itll just stay a thought...

well my opinion is that if you think the power-fc is cheaper than the c-one ecu then your kidding yourself, as the power-fc you need the unit itself, the 1zz coils, sure thats just over half the price of the c-one, but you need to tune it, so you either go for a datalogit, but your getting near the price of the c-one at that point, and if you dont want to tune it then you pay someone else to do it, and then you are at the price of the c-one already, and its hit or miss as to it being better than the other.

power-fc is the cheapest option for doing it diy if your doing it all yourself, but c-one may be the better option for those just wanting something plug and play with basic intake/exhaust mods.

Ill be fitting my Link G3 XLEM at some point. I just have to get down to the place to have it fitted and mapped. Not the cheapest but more attractively priced than for the Motec M400.

LinkPlus G3 Engine Management System — Link Engine Management Systems - plug-in & wire-in aftermarket ECU's

I got mine from Rogue Motorsport though I think there are other sources. They do a fit and MAP price (NB only the normal non-VVT-i G3 is currently shown on their website). They're already running a red top on a Link XLEM also.

From what I can remember (can't seem to find my excel spreadsheet) it's about £1,200. Can't remember exactly, I bought it in January and haven't spoken to Lyndon about mapping it for ages.

Thor are advertising them for £975 = VAT incl the 2.5Bar MAP sensor. I'm sure the price has gone up.

Also, that might be for mapping it with the ITB's -I think Lyndon reckoned there was about 3 days to set it up incl. all the cold starts etc.
