For $1200 bucks......
I would probably go with the Phoenix Power header. I think you will get the most gains from that. |

It was available from Takakaira.co.jp but its is no longer listed on thier site. The only option that i know of now for a headers is the Super Ex Header from Fujitsubo but im not sure if it is infact for the BEAMS or not?

I checked into that Fujitsubo one before and i'm pretty certain its not for the beams.
For that money Dave you could be talking a custom exhaust system, certainly up here theres a place that will build a manifold for £100 a cylinder out of lovely stainless and there welding was killer work, the rest of the system would have been another few hundred on top. Might be worth enquiring about what you could get, a good exhaust system is bound to be worth a few ponies but get someone good to do it not powerflow etc, maybe somewhere like hayward & scott or the like. If you got a custom manifold i'm sure someone with the pheonix power manifold will give you the width and length of the primary's so you could copy a tried and tested design. I'm pretty sure i saw a car ages ago on 6gc.net where with blacktop injectors, phoenix power manifold and hks intake/exhaust, once tuned with an emanage ultimate was making close to 190ish at the wheels, probably getting on for 220 at the flywheel. Infact dave theres a thought what about an emanage ultimate, theres a place near me that will supply, fit and tune an emanage ultimate for £650, it wont raise the rev limit but should extract some extra pony's if tuned well. 1200$ you can get 316 quality stainless steel 90 degree bends and have a TIG welded custom header made, djeez...why go with some name brand on this one....
