THANK FREAKING GOD!

That's for the stand-alone ECU you will be running, correct? By the way, just being a bastard little fly on the wall, but do allow for some space between the alu-pipes, at least for the ones you are connecting together with hoses....you want to allow some of the silicone/rubber hose to absorb some of the vibration that would otherwise resonate along the rest of the pipes.... |

another btw, are you made of money MANDALAY?? One over priced BEAMS from SRK (SUPER RARE KEITH), one brand new from factory, huge amounts of custom work, pricey 'supercharger' turbo thingy, bunch of tuning & dyno'ing coming up shortly......you obviously must not have a girlfriend, or she's just comatose, numb to your incessant BEAMS'ing, a corpse (necrophilia is the only way to do it yo!).....seriously though what the heck has this joke cost you so far and can I have some too? I'd like to port, polish & flow my head, go ferrea everything, forged pistons, forged H-beam rods, spec'd crank, GT30R and all that.....Thank you already Santa MANDALAY!

Yes there is space b/w all the aluminium pipe. The one you see close will have also 6 mm separation once the restrctor is gone. Notice also the 2 pipes going into the air divider piece has bumped silicon to allow engine rock. BTW many thanks I really think the Rotrex really is at home on our Beams |

Not adding the cost at all, You forgot to mention buying the car and stripping it back to bare metal, PPG 2 pac and Ceramic clear coat as used by Ferrari and Mercedes( what a #### that is putting on . The sprayer has to be an EXPERT as there is only a 10 hr window to work with, once its set its set period ) No wife , No girl friend just Red Tube ![]() Save and spend. But now i have to wait until the block comes. Which is good so i can save for the rest Last edited by MANDALAY; 04-11-2009 at 11:50 AM. |

Thanks man.
BTW i like your "Power isn't everything, it's all about balance and handling. " Thats why i went with the Rotrex as all the installs i have seen show very liner power increase unlike a turbo. The best discription ive seen is that it pulls just like having double the engine capacity Last edited by MANDALAY; 04-11-2009 at 11:50 AM. |

Next coming up is a pair of bent 19 mm aluminium pipes welded on a bracket to hug around the engine for the A/W setup. Then use hose from the fire and also to the swirl pot. Another bracket to hold the hoses also.
A bracket to hold the OEM turbos catch can and a pair of little catch pots one for intercooler collant overflow and one for the oil drain on the catch pot as unlike the Turbo i wwill not be feeding the oil drain back to the engine. Again all these mods will use factory threads to secure the items |

![]() It's simply amazing what you've done on this project. I could write a couple of rows filled with how f'in awesome this whole thing is, but I say it's simply outstanding. The main hose to the TB is genius! Btw, I wonder how much all these stuff weight (SC, hoses, IC, etc). |

^ surprisingly light. The Rotrex is about two thirds the weight of an alternator.
Removing the stock alternator bracket and the other bracket where the alternators sits roughly weighs the same as all the piping , IC , and aluminium alternator bracket. But ill end up weighing everything. |

Just finished drawing up my Catch can set up.
Im using the OEM 3SGTE one with the factory holder. It will sit on another machined aluminium bracket which gets its support again using factory point on the oil return line. The 3SGTE has the oil drain from the catch can going back into the block but im not doing that. On the aluminium bracket it will incorporate a little tank to collect the oil. The lid will have a dipstick to see if there is any oil and drain accordingly. Last edited by MANDALAY; 04-12-2009 at 07:26 AM. |

Got another custom piece back today
![]() Aluminium water pipes for my A/W setup to go around the back of the engine. It makes for a cleaner factory set up. Used the studs on the water outlet housing that holds the brackets for the fuel supply and return lines. Made a bracket . aluminium to hold 2 , 19 mm pipes. The pipes were angled and bent and as always to go around things. So now i will use hose to go to the fire wall and hose to go to the swirl pot. ALSO had one of my stuffed up pieces powder coated in the flat black textured finish. Man i really like it. It might not be for every one especially the bling lovers but is sure looks like a plastic pipe ![]() |

1 As you can see made a bracket to hold the 2 pipes and then used the factory studs as a mounting location
![]() 2 Pipes neatly go around the engive so everything is clear and not in the way. Also looking from on top hoses also aid in hiding the A.W cooler ![]() 3 Bracket holds the 2 hoses, Very good fit now ill smooth the bracket out and give it radiuses and thin it out even more to look less chunky ![]() Last edited by MANDALAY; 04-25-2009 at 07:29 PM. |
