ECU probs

Hey Guys,

I have troubles with my Beams.

I want testing my Beams for fault codes. But i dont have any reaction.

My ECU gives no sign.
I dont have any problems for starting or driving. Everything feels perfect but i dont can testing the fault codes.

Is my ECU dead? Or do i have another problem?

I want testing the oxigen sensor, my co exhaust or to high for the Belgian rules.
Tips are welcome to reduce my emissions.

Thanks alot!!!

PS: Srry for my Englisch, but i try to do my best.

If you ECU was dead I'm pretty certain your car wouldn't run or run right! How did you try pulling codes?

Thansk for the respons!
Today we have try again to testing the fault codes! But you are right!

We have pulling the codes on the wrong way. We did E1 and TE1 and he gave nothing. Than we do E1 and Vc (or Vc and mass) and he did het!

In any case thanks for your help!!!

Hmm! That surprises me! E1 is a ground connection but Vc I think is just a solid 5V line and nothing to do with diagnostics!

Check your wiring mate, there may be something seriously wrong.

Still, the connection points should be the same, or not? TE1 and E1.

There have been changes in Toyota connections, Tc/T1/TE1 etc are all them same, I was trying to pull codes from my BEAMS as well and could not find the DAMNED TE1 anywhere so I was very confused until Toyota dealer told me it is now Tc (Trouble-code??)
