st204 celica and ST202 beams wiring

I noticed that some of the wires did not match up fom the beams harness to the plugs near the ECM (ECU) the E3, E4 plugs -- theres 3 plugs - A big gray plug, a white, and a dark gray -- do you remember if you had to do any changing to them.

This picture are the plugs that came along with my beams harness -- it looks identical to the one inside the car - except some of the wires are different. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I generally just clip and discard those plugs. Even when doing wiring for a celica, I would use the old celica harness as the base, and the beams circuits added. I can never count on getting a complete beams harness, so I don't even bother with the bodyplug repin approach. Of course with mr2's, none of that is used.

Puretone and Mandalay are celica owners, and fought with these body connectors, the most likely have a pinout for them.

You need to wire:

Abs ecu -> diagnostic box (TC)
Airbag warning light -> fusebox (srs-wrn 7,5A)

That's all I can remember.

Didn't have one when I did it myself LOL, traced all those little bastards.....I always held reserved fears of the airbag blowing up in my face mid-shift due to it not being connected....hehehehehehe

Well - Mine was a salvage title vehicle when i bought it - air bags were already deployed - so i removed the airbag system - no worries there.
