How do you vent a bypass valve to the atmosphere?

I'm not very mechanically inclined and I was wondering how would you be able to vent the bypass valve to the atmosphere.

Extremely easy. Simply remove the pipe that goes from the bypass to the intake pipe and plug the hole. I dont recommend it though. The bypass will sometimes open up while accelerating causing your mr2 to hop like a wild mustang. Makes your engine run EXTREMELY rich. Can cause detonation and severly damage your motor.

lol, a cork. Or what my friend did, leave the pipe attached and plug it up with the tip of a wooden broom!! Make sure the wood is smooth. You don't want pieces coming off and going into your turbo.

If you have the factory bypass valve in then I wouldn't recomend venting it to atmostphere because the factory piece will come open while cruising and the unmetered air will cause it to run rich and even make the car lose power and stumble appon aceleration... but since your gonna do it anyway lol, A 20oz pop bottle cap fits perfectly
