Matts 94 mr2 has the turbo motor in it, I am not familur with the car. It runs, runs well but it will not idle under 3,000. it started in Nov of 09, he had to park it because of deployment to Afganistian, he's a marine. It has a new fuel filter and the pump works well, so I am wondering if the motor should be scaned first or just put a new tps on the motor?

ok so i recently purchased my "dream duece." 91 NA T-top clean body/clean title, almost all original. I planned to swap the engine out for turbo power in the future, but due to a blown motor i need to speed up the process to right now rather than later on. Being that this is my second MR2, i can say that i have "some" experience with my 1st NA mr2 and a "taste" of swapped turbo power. Unfortunately i totaled it in a terrible accident so i did not have enough time to enjoy it and learn everything about it. I bought it with the swapped 3sgte already in its NA body. Now to sum up my story, i DESPERATELY need all the advise i can get from my fellow MR2 lovers in finalizing my decision on the swap. Definately on a limited budget but leaning towards the 3sgte powerplant...... so many questions, dont know where to start..... please help.....

I have a 88 supercharged mr2 and all of a sudden it started acting up. Runing way 2 rich, wont idle, it dont run right in less it is boosting.

when the engine is cold and i start it, the car gives a low idle and some time would shut down it only idle properly when the temperature gets hot
