Widebody was nice but was too much. You should really see the car in person to appreciate it. I posted a link of Jack's ebay auction..... Post #18

Things I still need to buy
1. right set of wheels (thinking 17"sss I still want a comfortable ride rather than feeling every single bumps/cracks on the road with 18"+ and lower profile tire.) 17x8 +35 offset front and 17x10 0 offset rear (got a better picture now of how my car will look)?
2. suspension (sticking with Tokico illumina for the cost but would love Bilstein or Koni)

thats it so far before the kit comes together which I have to save up for hahaa... So right now i'm trying to do every small peice I can that my pocket can afford like that Tint on sunday with the gang (Davis, Dorman and a few others on the socal tread)

Thats going to be a long wait buddy.... I'm not in a rush and i'm trying to do things right every way I can possible... For sure the whole exterior will be first since the swap cost way too much to do and is way more work. I'm keeping my eye out for Dorman's car tho. I wanted to do a V6 swap myself.

Yeah them two... Going to be a while for me too so might as well enjoy how it looks in the outside... Its my daily anyways and the 5s is giving me a very good mileage (about 30-35mpg). I travel about 90% freeway 10% side streets.

i dont haul @$$ man... I drive at speed limit.. I dont even go on fast lane.. on fwy if there are 4 lanes i'd prolly stay on 2nd or 3rd lane... not slowest, not fastest lane heheheh... everything in the engine is stock... change the plugs, wires, a/c belt off since its currently not working and service it every 3K miles or 3 months whichever comes first...

Experience here talkin so please take these words into consideration. Never cheap out on a body kit if your gonna do it commit all the way and get one where the price reflects the fitment. I did the cheap out on a body kit route and I'm highly regretting it now because nothing fits right the pieces from side to side aren't symmetrical. It's takin me maybe 40 hours of work to get it where it is and it still looks like a pos to me. If I had to choose again I would just keep the stock body and save for an authentic border kit. Nothing is more frustrating then spending money on parts that don't fit and make other parts not fit.

Thats what extreme dimensions said about mine that it would fit perfectly... that was bs. Then having a shop do it will be fun because they're gonna spend a lot of time trying to get it to fit by then you have spent as much as you would of for a good kit. Then the return part I doubt because they won't be able to use it again. And if you can return it the body shop isn't going to waive the bill. I'm just saying if a body kit is what you want learn from my mistake and pay the extra money for the better fit.

DenverMR2... yup.. definitely going to commit.. I know someone that does good bodywork. He knows that some if not most kits do not line up right. I've already talked to him prior to buying the kit and he has explained me every detail so I think i'm good to go.....
