What are you willing to pay? The more you dish out the more there is to choose from. When I last converted a 2 I just used the N/A bonnet even though I have a SC one and cut the ribbing off then sat on bonnet pins so it was lift off. A lot of aftermarket hoods try to drive more air over the intercooler so you run the risk of getting a rice bonnet with scoops all over it.

I will post pics when I next have my camera round the car but basically I just cut the ribbing off with an angle grinder and sat it down on top. Also made new intercooler brackets to get that down as well. The pins are just for ease of work cause with the hood constantly in the way I just got annoyed so put this one on pins. Could be done a lot tidier but I wasn't sure if it would work but it does and now it's on I can't be bothered tidying it up so meh.

I used an angle grinder with a cut off blade in it and just carefully cut the bit where it would sit. Not sure if the air flows through as well as a sc cover but it was a lot cheaper and i could keep my paint

Did you mean the intercooler? Cause last time I checked my supercharger was bolted to the intake lol. Or did you mean how I mounted the engine.

Nothing will happen if water gets on it they are completely sealed. I just used flat bar bent into the right shapes to hold the intercooler then used screws to hold the brackets to the body. You can see one in the last picture that I posted of the intercooler. I cut the battery tray out completely but there is no need to I just did it to get at my engine mount easier.
