I get a kick out of people that own and drive a 2 seater sports car that preach "practicality". It's just funny to me.

Personally I don't mind the Lambo doors so much with a few stipulations.
- Must be quality work and quality product.
- Must compliment the rest of the "look" of the car. Lambo doors on an otherwise stock "2" or any car for that matter is just not right.

I know there are a lot of purists on this board and I am nobody to give anyone crap about taste (although it does slip out sometimes), but as I always tell everyone. Do what YOU want to the car... ultimately its YOU that has to stare at it in your driveway.

Well if you buy the two seater for the fun of driving it and/or autocrossing it, then it is practical in the way you want it to be. My personal idea is form should follow function. The function of the MR2 is to be a fun car to drive. It does that very well, and it looks the part too.

So really, it is practical in the application it is designed for.
