I get a kick out of people that own and drive a 2 seater sports car that preach "practicality". It's just funny to me.
Personally I don't mind the Lambo doors so much with a few stipulations. - Must be quality work and quality product. - Must compliment the rest of the "look" of the car. Lambo doors on an otherwise stock "2" or any car for that matter is just not right. I know there are a lot of purists on this board and I am nobody to give anyone crap about taste (although it does slip out sometimes), but as I always tell everyone. Do what YOU want to the car... ultimately its YOU that has to stare at it in your driveway. Scott |

Well if you buy the two seater for the fun of driving it and/or autocrossing it, then it is practical in the way you want it to be. My personal idea is form should follow function. The function of the MR2 is to be a fun car to drive. It does that very well, and it looks the part too.
So really, it is practical in the application it is designed for. |
