Should I install lambo doors on my MR2 Widebody?
Everyone insists that is (Non Mr2 Owners) that I install lambo doors on my MR2. I'm not to fond of lambo's but since it does have a widebody kit on it, what you think? Should I or NOT?

I don't really care if they're played out or not, I'd have them for the tight parking lots. There's so many idiots that park so close together when I go into Everett or Seattle, I don't have room to open my doors. And Lambo doors need so much less room to open, they're so much more practical.

^Did you not notice the fact that Lambo doors require less than half the lateral distance to open up than stock doors?
I'd call that pretty frickin practical, when people park so close that you can't open normal doors. |

There's nothing practical about them- it's a hassle to have to open and close your door that way all the time. They only look good on the lambos because of the lambo design. in an MR2 or any other non-lambo car it looks like a rabbit with big-ass ears. Nothing exotic or cool about it. It looks ricey.

No way jose to lambo doors
Quote:
your a genius for putting things in perspective like this and hopefully talking people out of crazy aftermarket body kits that depreciate an mr2 stay OEM. Its actually a huge pain to open the doors every time with lambo doors as you have to physically lift the door(not saying the doors are really heavy) just saying its a pain and you would never recoup your investment and might even hinder the car in more ways than one..... |
