LOL working on them, I have been blocking all the parts that look like orange peel and reprimering the parts where bare steel shows. Will posts pics later.

Did I mention next week I get pistons for it with a .20 bore over.

I leave for a car show on the 25th, and it's going with me.
Crunch time... Soon I'll be working as fast as those videos make it look like.

My Google Map

I hate sanding blocks I just look at them and cringe. I would love to be doing another mkI the panels are so much flatter than my mkII. Good stuff though I have been doing the exact same thing all day I've gone through packs of paper and an ass load of primer so far not exactly a job to be jealous of.

LOL me too, it sucks, but these are the tools I got. I bet the MKII has more curves, I'm going to have fun when I do that one next. LOL Kinda I want to paint my MKII, I'm tired of seeing 3 different fades of yellow.

The mkII has heaps of spots the sander just won't get into and do right without really making a mess so you land up having to get out the paint stripper and the hand, the vents and concave door and such. Its about then you realize the car has been through about 54 fences and bumped 20 poles. My spoiler was green then black then blue. The guard was black then purple then black then white and the car SMG then blue Its a royal rainbow. Yours is original paint though isn't it? so it won't be as beaten on I can't see it having a history like mine.

Yeah thats what makes it a pain all the curves from the vents to the doors, the wing and the back., LOL dang thats a lot of colors man. Can't decide which one?

Yes mine is original and going to stay original. Just want it to be ONE Yellow instead of 3. No it won't mine gots a clean body no major damage, just one tiny/barly noticable ding.
