gen 1 intake snorkles

I know that I can buy the intake snorkle for the drivers side want to find one for the passenger side or is it the otherway around. does anyone know if I can buy one ready made or will I have to get it custom made.....

That's gonna be hard (kens air scoop) for the mk1 mr2 makes both sides,I used to see it on ebay for 60-120 bucks but that was 4 years ago.Check google I know this place in SoCal that sells em for 150 for both sides or 80 each plus shipping.

thanks for the info found them at some place called autobahn got the link for anyone else that wants it but they are not cheap 165.00 each.....

Yah that sounds right (autobahn) I think the asian guy that owns the place might give more discount if you buy more parts.I was able to bargain on other product with him.

it is just 3 bolts holding it in I will need a wire mesh for them but that should be all...I also found a great pic of an mk1 mr2 that has the whole rear engine and quarters made into a pop up like with the ford gt ( lifts towards the passenger compartment) looked really cool thinking of something like that for mine ( think that it would need to be fiberglass or carbonfiber)

you know that with that 3.0l yamaha sho engine this might be a very good idea for me to do something like what is pictured above just for the serviceability factor. I know that it is a major mod to undertake. but does anyone think that it would be worth it......????????

IMO.............NO.

it would be a hell of a job to do but i guess with enough work it can be done so GL and take plenty of pics.
