powerslot or EBC rotors

Ok I am at a crossroad on which rotors are worth the money. Is the rotors different for the MK1 N/A and the MK1 S/C??? if so what is the difference? Is it worth the extra money to put high end rotors on the rear or just the basic rotors will sufice?

EBC or powerslot...which is worth the money and performance.

Thanx

What kind of driving are you doing?

Ya, just save yourself the money and get some NAPA or Checker/Kragen blanks unless the bling is important to you.

Well I picked up the Front powerlsot rotors from summmitracing...the price was right.

PWR-JBR-376SR Power Stop Brake Rotors
Brake Rotor, Slotted, Iron, Silver Cadmium Plated, Passenger Side, Front, Geo/ Toyota, Each
10/11/07 $46.39
PWR-JBR-376SL Power Stop Brake Rotors
Brake Rotor, Slotted, Iron, Silver Cadmium Plated, Driver Side, Front, Geo/ Toyota, Each
10/11/07 $46.39

How about the rear??? I was going with Bembo blanks and rebuilt calipers. Because most of the braking power is in the front unless you have a portioning device inline.....right???

Even if your have an adjustable brake proportioning valve most of the braking is still done by the front of the car. It has to be this way because when you step on the brakes hard most of the weight shifts to the front tires.

There is a proportioning valve in the braking system as it rolls off the showroom floor. What you linked to is an adjustable prop valve that can be used to adjust brake bias.

Listen to ^...

Nothing wrong with spending a little extra on the front, but dont buy some high end or name brand rear rotors. Your local auto parts New rear rotors will be excellent.
If your calipers are good, then leave them. Some nice pads (EBC green stuff for street use, porterfield for a little more aggresive braking, etc...) will be a big improvement. Stainless steel lines, etc..

But dont waste money on an adjustable proportioning valve or overkill rear rotors. Most of the time you havnt seen stuff done because its not warranted. Being original is cool, but not when your just paying to do so with no added benefits.
