Coilovers, D2 or G4?
I have finally fount coilovers for my car in australia and these are the two options. Does anyone have any pro's or con's of the two? any input would be very helpful as there is a $200 differance between the two.

I've got D2s and I love them. I bought these under the premonition that they are KSport clones so I was thinking they were going to suck. My friend Ben is a vendor for them and I got them at an awesome price. They ride super smooth and even have a rear sway bar mount for my Suspension Techniques rear bar. Hope this helps, as far as ride height goes, on the front tires I can get just about my index finger between the top of the tire and the top of the fender, on the rear its about twice that distance. My car is an '88 btw.

Stop reading and find out for yourself man, I've had both KSport and Megan Racing coilovers and the D2s beat them by a long shot as far as balancing between daily drivability and performance go. I had KSport Kontrol Pro's on my S13 Coupe and Megan Racing Street coilovers on my S13 Hatch, KSport's were also a 9kg front and 7kg rear spring but rode like **** it bounced all over the place, Megan Racing was also a 9kg front and 7kg rear spring setup but it rode better, the dampeners were still a bit too weak for the springs so it was very firm if not a little bouncy no matter what I did to it.
The D2s are about 3/4 full stiffness and are VERY driveable, I'd say just like stock but more firm. At 7/10 full stiffness it becomes more and more stiff, all the way to full stiffness and the car STILL doesn't bounce at all, its just very firm. Do us a favor, if you haven't experienced each brand YOURSELF, keep your mouth shut. Yes, I'm being an ass, why? I hate people who just read and recite without any actual experience with a product. |

Thanks for the input. do you have any issues going up steep driveways and the inside rear wheel lifting off the ground?

I didnt hear to many good stuff about D2. Stuff about the valving being all wrong etc. I want coilovers but I'm not to sure about D2. In contrary to the Koni adjustables with Eibach springs, everybody loves them. With D2 its a mixed experience what I read. Sucks there arent that many options
