Tokico HP Blue Struts

Are the Tokico HP Blue Struts any good? I did a search but nothing came out regarding this. I guess it should be a step better than the KYB GR2. Any suggestion?

I love mine as do so many others who are on a budget and own them. I matched them with ST springs FTW.

the tokico hp...(or tokico blues as some may call them) are great for the price, they handle well and offer decent dampening.

Did you need any type of a camber kit if your springs lowered your car on your MR2?

My Google Map

I dropped my 89 NA 1" with a set of Eibach springs and KYB GR2 struts. All alignment settings are within original factory specs. A new set of Prothane bushings didn't hurt any as they eliminated all slop.

Along with a set of Addco 3/4" sway bars front and rear it rides rough (you feel every pot hole and dip in the road) but corners like a go cart

The sway bars probably didn't cause the rough ride. I made all the above changes at once.

I can tell you the changes made it an entirely new car to drive in the mountains.

Nope. ST springs on mine. 1.3" drop - only cut the bumpstops. Nothing else.

Got them at Stillen.com and they are listed at 219 but I called and they did 200 plus 20 to ship. No tax.

They are green. All new ones are green as far as I know. The older ones were grey from what I have read.

Stillen orders directly from ST and ST is out of stock (called them yesterday). Could be at least 2 months before ANYONE has them in stock.

Yup. I also tried Stillen, JC Whitney, and Auto Anything.

ST backordered them for at least two months - some retailers told me ST had no idea when they would be back in stock. Oh well, I just bought some B&G springs for $200 shipped.
