Crickets

OK FOLKS , It is getting so quite in here I'm starting to hear the Crickets chirping. Let's get some Good Ol' Carolina style discussion going on .

I just spent a week in a cabin in beautiful Gatlinbug Tennessee. My wife and I watched a 15,000 Square Feet , Multi Million Dollar home burn to the ground. I saw a few Mr2's . I'm trying to lock a trade for a 2003 Solar Yellow MKIII for the honey right now that Mr. Hill so generously tipped me on to .

So what does everyone have planned ?

They say the perp usually hangs around to admire his work and see the firetrucks respond.

Me? Until a couple of weeks ago, I had never even touched a 3SGTE motor. Now I have three dead ones within a few feet of each other in my garage:

Bill,

Unfortunately, the next few weekends are going to be bad for me, but otherwise I would make the 1 1/2 hour ride down to be nosey and learn a bit more about 3sgte's, myself and lend you a hand. What are you going to do with the dead ones..bury 'em?

I once saw a house burn to the ground when i was on my way to high school. It was crazy...from start to finish...this huge 2 story home burnt to the ground in less than 10 minutes....amazing. Crazy how destructive fire is.

This fire was scarey . Three stories and several million dollars in just a few minutes. Bill , if you don't want the old 3SGTE's , maybe we could design furniture of some sort with them. I still need to find a rear clip and make a cool sofa out of it. :-)

When all is said and done, I should only have one dead motor left over (the one that liberated itself from the trailer on the way down from Charlotte). I'm mainly hanging onto that one incase I have any cracked ring lands or block on the other two engines.

Kev, you'd be welcome any time! Corey helped me stumble through getting the engine loose of the tranny and into the passenger side of my MR2ruck. It was nice having the help. That being said, you'd probably get pretty bored as I tend to work pretty slowly. I don't know a lot about this stuff, but I can usually figure it out and can read a BGB.
