NASA Southeast is having races and time trials this weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC (or at least that is the closest town)

if you're within a decent drive, stop by... I'll be running Time Trials in my MR2 and there will be alot of impressive machinery out there as well as some good racing in the Spec E30 and Spec Miata classes

should be free or very little cost to get into the gate for the weekend

keep an eye out for this car:

and I'll keep an eye out for other MR2s

Oh snap, this is the track I'm wanting to try out!!! We're supposed to be having an area meet on the 10th. What time of day does this thing cover?? I might try and run down if it fit in time wise.

there will be stuff on track almost (8:30-5:10) all day (like Time Trials, regular lapping groups, etc), but the races are scheduled for around 2:10 and 3:10 Saturday and 12:30 and 2:45 Sunday

ran a 1:55.797, but had another guy in class just ~4 tenths quicker. Not bad for dying tires though

yeah, RA1s that were new in September 2006... heh. Plus they had about 25-30hrs on them
