Carolina meets...

Anoyone on here interested in meets? I'm in Greenville and I was wondering if anyone was interested in a meet, maybe this summer or something...

Why is there so little activity in the 'Carolinas' section?
On *another board* they have meets and activities all the time...
What's up Carolinas guys...step it up!

Kbrew8891 & bean are from SC as well. As am I but I'm 2less.

Not too sure if there are any other active upper SC/lower NC members.

Are you looking to buy a 2 or just wish you had a 2 or former owner?...? I know a guy that is selling two of them for $6k each...

Former owner and hopefully a future owner eventually. I wouldn't buy one for 6k. I'd be more interested in MK2's with blow motors, bad paint ect.. Something for a project.

tried to get some MR2 people to come hang out at the track.. I think 1 guy came one time and that was it... oh well

Because in reality, we only need one message board, and the OC got it first. People just haven't felt a need to move when a simple forum gets the job done.

I'll be spending about 2 months back in Charleston this summer, I'd love to go to a meet then.

Well, I live here too... and I attend the local meets!! Heck I even host one... speaking of which... I need to assemble the "planning comittee" for a meeting regarding this ASAP. Will post info about the meet here as well as "the other board" of course when things get finalized. We're looking at a long weekend deal for the 4th of July this year, so we have more options. The 4th will be a Friday. This may cause an influx of more MR2's as people hunt for vacation ideas for the 4th so I've got to get the planning crew assembled in the next few days to help me knock out our plans for this year. We had a fantastic turnout last year and expect more cars/owners this year!

Yup! I love that picture... in fact I'm cycling through pics with my cars as desktop backgrounds every few days now so I'm sure I'll get it as a background soon!

I agree, we need to post about the local meets here too. I'll definately be posting both locations about the 4th deal as it comes together further.
