Any MR2 shops near Charlotte/Concord

I am tired of doing the work on my 91 turbo and looking for a known quality place to take it to and get all my timing belt parts replaced. Cam seals, front main seal, belt, tensioner and so on. I would take it to Toyota but I am pretty sure that the mechanics there are no more familier with the car then any other mechanic. I could do it myself but frankly I just don't have the time anymore. Thanks for the advice.

There's a guy that used to work at Toyota of Concord that's an MR2 mechanic. I'll email you a contact phone number for Brian that works there, he'll get you this guy's phone number.

I take mine to Town and Country Toyota on South Blvd. They have a tech there Mike who works on a few of the local MR2's. He has a nice Super Red 87 MK1 and there are 2 other mechanics there that are also owners. He also does some stuff on the side too depending on what you need done. Mike is a good guy and does good work in my opinion. I think he has a local shop in Fort Mill he does some stuff at too.

I checked out your website, but it looks like you guys are working on the site right now. I recently aquired a 91 MR-2 non-turbo. It wasn't well maintained, and the engine blew (i think) 3 days after I got it. There's fire damage in the engine bay, plus I figure since it has to get fixed anyway I might as well get the performance mods at the same time. Since the car isn't running, do ya'll have a flat bed to pick the car up on?

Welcome! Your shop may come in really handy for some folks here.

Do you have specialty, or is your shop general mechanical repair?
