new from New Zealand
hey guys, new to these forums but not really new to mr2s
iv had my sw20 n/a for nearly 2 years now, and had an n/a aw11 for 3 years before that. 1991 SW20 G LTD (JDM import) so far with my sw20 iv done the following mods: TRD Hard type springs Flying Brick Short shifter with TRD leather gear knob (modified gen 1 shifter complete with shift bearings) Sportline Steering wheel 2.5" stainless exhaust (mandrel bent of course) K&N pod filter with cold air intake heatwrapped intake pipe and exhaust manifold relocated windscreen washers to the wiper cowl shaved radio aerial partially stripped interior removed air conditioning (after all thats what t tops are for isnt it?) full Veilside bodykit (yea i kno its not everyones idea of nice but i like it an thats what matters right?) have just bought a set of 16" 2 piece dished wheels off trade me (nzs ebay) and will be picking those up in a couple of days. in the current trim she weighed in at 1160kg with a full tank of gas theres still a lot more i want to do as well including a possible V6 swap just a coupla recent photos, will update with more as i get new bits ![]() ![]() |

Very cool. We have several here from NZ but I haven't seen them lately. Be sure to put your approximate location on the MR2 Google Map. You'll be the first in NZ.

i put my location into the map thing the plan is get all the carbon parts i want then paint her red with a black roof keeping the carbon unpainted tho Last edited by DVSMR2; 10-16-2006 at 05:31 AM.. |

all in good time phoenix
gotta save the money as i go n all got my wheels last night tho! they look so good on there, ill post a pic 2nite or 2moro morning of them ![]() as promised, a photo with my new wheels on there... i have no idea what exactly they are (all i know is 16x9 rears and 16x8 fronts, either 2 or 3 piece i cant tell which tho) so if anyone could identify them itd be great to know just as a point of reference Last edited by DVSMR2; 10-18-2006 at 05:36 AM.. |
